Looking back at 2025

2025 was the year when Webtify really accelerated next. Not only in numbers, but especially in people, structure and ambition. A warm-up really, but one from which Roy and I now have sore muscles.

We are no longer a small club. We especially noticed that on that Monday morning when we introduced and inducted four new Webtify’ers at the same time. Then we both thought: okay, now it’s going fast. Everyone remains the same, we don’t like hierarchy, but growth requires clear lines and also for new Webtify’ers. That’s why this year we appointed a Head of Support, Head of Design and Head of Customers, among others. Not to build layers, but to know better where to turn, make decisions faster and set clear goals and development per Head.

Start of renovation

In 2025 we moved to a new office in the heart of Rotterdam. At the end of 2024 we were already busy looking for a new place and after many viewings we finally just moved within the same building. From Westblaak 90 to Westblaak 130, a unit of about 300m2. Again, the collaboration with Thornico felt right away. We completely gutted the space and rebuilt it from scratch, with a large canteen, separate meeting rooms, a phone booth and everything we needed to work nicely. Everything is right. And yet we’re already noticing that because of our rapid growth, it’s starting to get on the cramped side again. But we’ll think about that later. First we will finish the bar in January 2026, then the office will really be finished.

Speed, performance, Porsche Supercup

Speed and performance were not only in our websites this year, but also on the track. In 2026, we will be at the start of every race in the Porsche Supercup. For us as motorsport enthusiasts, that is special. Racing in the supporting program of Formula 1 is just a boyhood dream come true.

We formed partnerships with three drivers and created our Performance Talent Program. A program in which we help young talent on the road to their dream. This is all in response to the partnership we started earlier this year with Dirk Schouten (Porsche Supercup driver). I came across Dirk through a documentary of DAY1, made by JayJay Boske. In it Dirk talked about all the things he has to do to be able to be at the start of the Porsche Supercup at all. That ambition and perseverance got us talking and was ultimately the reason to start a great partnership for 2026.

The conversation with Jeff Hagelen, Devon’s father, was so inspiring that we welcomed Devon to the program with more than enthusiasm. Xavier Zandbergen is also joining our program. Xavier has the dream of driving the 24 Hours of Le Mans and will drive the Mazda Cup and Porsche Cup Benelux next year. It feels like our ambition as Webtify flows one-to-one to the track, speed and performance. It matches on all sides.

The coolest moment was without a doubt Monza. We flew from Schiphol Airport at 8:30 am. At 6:00 I called a colleague awake because another colleague was sick. Brett was at Schiphol within 45 minutes. I don’t know exactly how fast he drove, but I think Dirk Schouten would be jealous.

Arriving in Monza, Dirk turned out to have his car plastered with the Webtify logo as a surprise. That is such a boyhood dream that suddenly becomes reality. And when he takes the podium in both races, you know that this is a great beginning of a collaboration.

Growing hurts

Growth sounds fun, and it is, but it often just hurts. Striving to add three new websites to our portfolio every day is a mega job. It requires tight cooperation and the continuous fine-tuning and optimization of our internal processes. A lot of money, time and energy goes into that.

That this pressure is palpable is reflected in everything. You shift gears faster, make more choices and have less room for doubt. Still, we managed to keep our customer satisfaction level above 9 again. A 9.2 this year, compared to 9.5 in 2024. To be honest, we are extremely happy with that. Of course there is always room for improvement, but for a model that by its very nature is not actually scalable, and that we are scaling anyway, that is something to be incredibly grateful to our Support Webtify’ers for.

Roles that change with you

My own role as founder has changed considerably in 2025. The focus is much more on strategy, setting the vision and translating it to all Webtify’ers. That’s a huge job, but one that keeps me energized late into the night. Choosing sides that have more impact and setting longer lines.

The same is true for Roy. As CTO, his focus now is on putting everything we do away technically. Optimizing, continuing to develop our AI agent and making sure we get more and more out of every minute of our developers’ time. The decision to make FYNN more widely available to our customers via Webtify AI is a good example of this. We’ve been working with FYNN internally for a long time, but the further development that Roy and his team have put in place this year is going to change the work of a lot of SMEs now and in the future.

Ready for 2026

In 2025, we achieved tremendous growth. We built an even better structure, put down a team, created a Performance Talent Program, ran great marketing experiments while keeping customer satisfaction above 9.

By 2026, we want:

  • a 1.5% market share in our market
  • To become the largest administrator and supplier of Divi (WordPress) on a European level
  • Achieve another doubling of subscriptions

Thank you to everyone who worked, built, tested, drove, laughed, and sometimes had to take a break with us in 2025. We look back on a great year and forward to a new year full of challenges, speed and growth.

Start strong, stay ahead.
