Anti-discrimination policy
Why this policy is there.
At Webtify, we work with entrepreneurs from across the Netherlands and far beyond, in diverse countries and cultures. Everyone working with or at Webtify should feel welcome, safe and taken seriously, regardless of background, appearance or beliefs. This policy is in place to prevent, recognize and promptly address discrimination.

What Webtify understands by discrimination.
For Webtify, discrimination is any direct or indirect distinction between individuals that is not relevant to the work to be done.
This includes discrimination based on:
- Age
- Gender, pregnancy or gender identity
- Sexual orientation
- Marital or family status
- Race, skin color, national or ethnic origin
- Language or nationality
- Faith, belief or political affiliation
- Disability, chronic illness or neurodiversity
Meeting requests from clients or partners to exclude or select people on the above characteristics, when they have nothing to do with the job or position, also falls under discrimination for Webtify.
Our position: no room for discrimination.
There is no room within Webtify for discriminatory behavior, comments or decisions.
This includes:
- Employees, partners, suppliers and customers are judged on their role, contribution and professionalism, not on personal characteristics.
- Requests from clients or partners to take discriminatory criteria into account in recruitment, selection or cooperation will not be honored.
- A distinction is made only if there is a clear, function-related and objectively justifiable reason for doing so (for example, safety or legal requirements). In such cases, the least intrusive solution is always sought.
What Webtify expects from employees.
Every Webtify employee has an active role in preventing and countering discrimination. The following is expected of employees:
- Signal: recognize comments, requests or behaviors of a discriminatory nature and do not engage in them.
- Respond: indicate clearly to colleagues, clients or partners that Webtify will not cooperate with discriminatory requests or expressions.
- Escalate: Are you in doubt or is undesirable behavior occurring? Discuss it with your supervisor or designated confidential advisor.
- Record: when serious incidents occur, make a brief, factual note (what, when, who) so Webtify can take appropriate steps.
What employees can expect from Webtify.
Webtify takes every report of discrimination seriously and handles it carefully. Employees should expect the following:
- A safe working environment where there is respectful cooperation and space to discuss concerns or incidents.
- That reports are treated confidentially and shared with stakeholders only as necessary to resolve the issue.
- That discriminatory behavior can have consequences ranging from a call and warning to termination of cooperation.
- That Webtify regularly examines processes, communication and collaboration to further prevent discrimination.
Application toward customers, partners and suppliers.
Our anti-discrimination policy applies not only internally, but also in how Webtify works with clients, partners and suppliers:
- Webtify does not respond to requests to exclude or select people on characteristics not relevant to the quality or safety of work.
- If a customer, partner or supplier exhibits discriminatory behavior toward Webtify employees, this will be discussed and, where appropriate, Webtify will terminate the cooperation.
- Contracts and collaborations adhere to this policy whenever possible so that it is clear what Webtify stands for.

- If discussing the matter directly doesn’t feel safe, you can submit your report in writing through the internal reporting channel.
Webtify strives to review reports as quickly as possible, hear those involved and clearly communicate what steps will be taken.
